So based on the article, you will see that some politicians feel the government owes blacks money for having them as slaves. Hmm, if you think about it, the government itself didn't own slaves, but possibly politicians may have. Based on this argument, every politician owes black america money for reparations.
New thought, I think that any reparations should be served in the form of transport back to Africa or Jamaica or any other third world country they want. If they were taken against their will, I'm sure they will be overjoyed to go back home. Or lets go ahead and call it even since the government I pay taxes to, gives out welfare checks to "underpriviledged" persons who, god knows, are that way because of the Negro College Fund, affirmative action and being recruited to play ball. Considering all this, it's not suprising your government is planning on more wasted spending. Would Barack get half reparations? So if the politicians decide to dole out the hand-me-outs, then those recipients better come up with a way to actually deserve it. To whom much is given, much is expected.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Article 3, Chapter 15, Title 16 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 16-15-370. (A) It is unlawful for a person in a public forum or place of public accommodation wilfully and knowingly to publish orally or in writing, exhibit, or otherwise make available material containing words, language, or actions of a profane, vulgar, lewd, lascivious, or indecent nature.
(B) A person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than five thousand dollars or imprisoned not more than five years, or both."
SECTION 2. Article 3, Chapter 15, Title 16 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 16-15-430. (A) It is unlawful for a person to disseminate PreviousprofanityNext to a minor if he wilfully and knowingly publishes orally or in writing, exhibits, or otherwise makes available material containing words, language, or actions of profane, vulgar, lewd, lascivious, or indecent nature.
(B) A person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than five thousand dollars or imprisoned not more than five years, or both."
SECTION 3. Section 16-15-305(A)(3) of the 1976 Code is amended to read:
"(3) publishes orally or in writing, exhibits, or otherwise makes available anything obscene to any a group or individual; or"
SECTION 4. The first undesignated paragraph of Section 16-15-375 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:
"The following definitions apply to Section 16-15-385, disseminating or exhibiting to minors harmful material or performances; Section 16-15-387, employing a person under the age of eighteen years to appear in a state of sexually explicit nudity in a public place; Section 16-15-395, first degree sexual exploitation of a minor; Section 16-15-405, second degree sexual exploitation of a minor; Section 16-15-410, third degree sexual exploitation of a minor; Section 16-15-415, promoting prostitution of a minor; and Section 16-15-425, participating in prostitution of a minor; and Section 16-15-430, disseminating Previousprofanity to a minor."
SECTION 5. The repeal or amendment by this act of any law, whether temporary or permanent or civil or criminal, does not affect pending actions, rights, duties, or liabilities founded thereon, or alter, discharge, release or extinguish any penalty, forfeiture, or liability incurred under the repealed or amended law, unless the repealed or amended provision shall so expressly provide. After the effective date of this act, all laws repealed or amended by this act must be taken and treated as remaining in full force and effect for the purpose of sustaining any pending or vested right, civil action, special proceeding, criminal prosecution, or appeal existing as of the effective date of this act, and for the enforcement of rights, duties, penalties, forfeitures, and liabilities as they stood under the repealed or amended laws.
SECTION 6. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

We have all gotten into deep conversations with friends. At times, we find that we have radically different views. Some are hurt, some are shocked and some rethink friendships. One such occurrence happened this past week. A friend wrote a blog about how she was frustrated that "95% of black people are voting for Obama because he is black." Of course, the black friends lashed out at that idea. I thought I'd chime in, so I wrote this, "[...] but if america wants a communist, welfare check loving, non experienced, idiot who some relate to because he is their black hope, then the streets will vote this moron in. he has been in the senate two years. only maybe a third of that time was he actually there, or he just voted present. lets talk statistics. find me a black person who is voting for a republican. they are probably an educated person. also realize that if you want change, dont vote for a liberal who will spend like bush spent our money. your absolutely right. capitalism will save our [screwed] up country. not some anti-christ." So I upset a few people, I don't really care. From this, I had to explain to another uneducated person what communism was.
They then stated, "If America wants a senile, war-mongering loon who's policies ARE NO DIFFERENT THAN BUSH'S, go right on ahead and vote for McCrypt-Keeper."
Clever, yes, but since Obama voted for the war too, this just makes no sense now does it.
My next two cents (sense) went like this. "ok lets start with communism. obamas on some robin hood [...] take from the rich and give to the poor. that is communism when the money you rightfully made is taken and given to those who don't try to get a job, or try to better their situation. that is barry's (barak's) redistribution of wealth. what is the american dream? (don't get me started on affirmative action.) its coming up legitimately, not a hand-out. what do you think will happen when the rich are taxed or large corporations are taxed more? they will pass that down to "joe the plumber" with higher prices. that doesn't help the economy. communism/socialism appeals to the weak minded, especially when they dont have to switch parties.

who are these guys?
I am sitting here alone in the apartment sipping on a brew and I got to thinking. This is a rare occurrence, I know. As I was registering to vote online (Lou will love that fact), I realized i really do not know jack about any of these guys. Most of which i learn on this show. Media, otherwise, is our source as a technological nation for the "dirt" on all candidates. Yes, a lot of it is word of mouth, but if there was no internet, no "communist news network", or even a newspaper with no editors; how would we know anything about these guys? In olden times, (Nancy remembers. Just kidding, but seriously) candidates would travel town to town to meet with the people and talk to them from the back of a locomotive with their top hats. Of course they do now too, save the hats, but we all can see it in our living-rooms after we return home from work.We can see so many other sides to politicians, see when they fumble their words or fake an accent.....bad Hillary. Another question is how do I find an unbiased source to find out what all these jokers believe, have done and will actually do? I really need to find these things out. I believe I heard a colleague say, but I wont try to quote him, that people end up voting emotionally. I can make judgments emotionally too, but people lets try to stick to facts and not how pretty or botoxed these future leaders look.
As a lazy American who knows where I will find the time to find a candidate. Hell, I'm rarely political, but find myself realizing that we're all screwed if we fail to care. However, if you get bored after reading my 2nd rant, then try this site and see if who you were going to vote for matches up. If not rethink and research. The second link provides a helpful list of the candidates positions. Do not believe everything you read, however, take this blog as an example.

hello reader,
this is my first blog on uncommon sense radio. i'd like to start by saying that these guys you hear every week are an amazing group of talented individuals. haha, i know what your saying to yourself, "oh, and this guy is a joker too!" well, yes and no. this show i see as the new "wave" of media that will be one of the first of its kind. wishful thinking? yes. possible? absolutely. as i ramble on, consider all the new forms of media that have sprouted along the way; and think to yourself that as a listener, you are now a part of the next phase. consider yourself lucky and in a way you also are an innovater. don't let it go to your head.
