What the ....?

What is going on? We have the President threatening to kick butts, the Mayor of New York approving a plan to have a mosque built at ground zero, Helen Thomas saying the Jews need to back to Poland, the US, etc., Nancy Pelosi get heckled at a meeting in DC of a group that should have been supportive of her and the President and two conservative, fiscally responsible and former CEO female candidates in California winning the Republican nominations for governor and the senate. We also have a Democratic incumbent running in the Arkansas primary as a Washington liberal. The question is will Senator Lincoln make a big right turn to save her seat. ..my bet is yes. Finally Tipper and Al are splitting up, what’s that about?

OK, is this all true or am I on an unreality show?

A poll came out that has shown that 69% of Americans are dissatisfied with the government. Also a poll has come out showing that the unfavorable view of the Tea Party movement has gone up 11 points from 39% to 50%. These two polls were both released by Fox News. What does this mean?

Here is my opinion of what these two polls mean, what a surprise.

The first poll is easy. Of course most of the country is upset with the Congress and the Administration. We have a Congress that is out of control and politically corrupt as a group on both sides of the isle. They act in support of political agendas rather than an agenda that will be beneficial for the citizens of this nation. We have a President “who talks big and carries no stick at all.” Mr. Obama is more concerned with appeasement, whether it is dealing with nations and terrorist groups or the citizens of the states that have been damaged by the oil spill. The administration is drunk with power, and they believe that they can run the country like the Cook County Democratic club.

The problem the President and his administration faces is that the American people are slowly catching on to the Obama flim-flam style of politics, which is, we are going to tell you we are doing something and that we are making progress and you better believe us. The administration has played fast and loose on economic numbers, such as, telling us there is an increase in employment and things are looking up, when they are counting temp jobs that they know will go away.

We also see the administration at times still blaming the former administration for all the problems this administration faces, as well, as for the problems this administration has created. The only change we have experienced is that the President and his cronies have made a bad situation worse. The incompetence of this administration at times boggles the mind. The Obama administration has become the “Keystone Cops” of government competency.

The Tea Party numbers are not a surprise at all. What began as a grass roots movement is rapidly being subverted my self serving media types who see a way to advance their careers by becoming “the spokespersons” for the movement. You can’t turn on the radio or cable news and not see these self appointed leaders pressing their faces against your television screen. The Tea Party movement, in the beginning, was a breath of fresh air but now it has been hijacked by self serving media demagogues. Simply, these loud and irritating media types are turning people off.
